SudanVision -Kadugli: Major General Daniel Kodi,
chairperson of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM-Kodi) said
that the war in South Kordofan is unjustifiable and caused deterioration
in the State, indicating that those who have taken up arms
miscalculated everything because there was no strong reason behind
insurgency. That was why he rejected this war which was also shared by
his subordinates. He criticized the so-called Sudan Revolution Front
(SRF) indicating that all the movements do not have power or actual
presence on the ground. The Nuba ethnic group is the only power which
has an impact. Despite this, the Nuba has no representation in the
leading office of the SRF which is formed of Malik Agar, president,
Minni Arco Minnawi, Abdulwahid Mohammed Nour and Yasir Arman.
Addressing a meeting of South Kordofan
new government, Kodi renewed his call on insurgents to act rationally
and choose peace option to work together as one team for the sake of the
citizens of the state. He said that the new broad-based government is
confronted with major challenges that entail unity of all the people to
surmount these challenges, indicating the importance of the work to
realize security and stability. This won't be achieved unless every one
keeps away from partisanship and work together towards realizing
national and patriotic spirit.
